Default Sunday Million - JJ facing a decision

Only at table for a few hands but i did see button call a shorties push with 22 on my first hand(which he lost), whether that says more about the button or the shortie, im not sure

i can fold and be left with a decent stack. Is ~1.5/1 enough for me to call this and basically risk crippling myself?

    Pokerstove:

    JJ vs AK/TT+

    43/57.

Very close, add to that he calls with 22 which only a moran would (edit: depends on blinds etc obv)

I would say he could have 22+, AT+, KQ

Calling with 22 is retarded unless it's insignificant to your stack (which in his case it isn't) so I'd assume he's pushing a wide variety of hands here, and as orion showed you're fine against a tighter range

Based on that 22 hand a range of TT+/AK is waaaaay too tight for him.

Throw in AQ and 99 and you're a marginal favourite. I instacall this, and I'm a weak-tight donk.

yup, pretty straight forward in the cold light of day with some straight thinking.......i called and JJ > 77 for once.

i was so close to folding it tho which has been my main problem the few times ive played a few of these higher buyin mtts.....i might just take my T$ next time instead of playing scared for two hours
