Got knocked out in 6th place in a 16 man Live MTT. Blinds are 1000/2000 with a 200 ante. I have about 16-18,000 chips second shortest stack. loose aggressive player limps utg i call with Q9 hearts getting low on chips so decide to see a flop as i have played hardly any hands at all. everyone else folds SB calls (he has about 65,000 chips) maybe more. Flop J 8 A rainbow all check, turn 3 all check, river 10 no flush possible. SB who had been bulling table bets 5000 LAG player calls I min raise an extra 5,000 thinking maybe ill get a call from 2 pair maybe less. SB goes ALL in LAG player folds, i call really quick lol.
SB shows KQ im thinking WTF LOL. knocked out. Opinions on this hand. feel as though i trapped myself by calling preflop. is a fold on river viable???
Been thinking about this hand for a while and i find it hard to see how i could fold river on the off chance hes limped preflop with KQ.
