anyone make a case for shoving over the top preflop?

id even like a bigger raise to like 650-750, we generally would like to take this down prefop due to the nature and vulnerability of our hand but we do have position on one of them...given the line what did he have 88-99? ak?

Just call the original pre-flop raise. You're in the 3rd level.

Set mine, bet unders, fold to resistance.

Only because your kinda deepstacked, i smoothcall preflop to setmine. This early in the tourney, with that stack, try to keep the pots small.

I agree with the call preflop.

As played I think you're caning a hell of a lot of his range so shoving is g00t.

I like the line. If somebody has aces or kings they'll probably push pf & we can still fold. If they smooth call they probably have something pathetic like KJ sooted since it's a $4 tournament. Having said that I'd just call pf but I don't know whether that's better.

AK, KQ, AQ...

I can't put the villain on anything else here, definately not AA, KK, QQ.

Weakass calling either means he has a 2, or you win. What did he have?

I think you made the right move. Just calling preflop (esp with the amount of money this tournament is) is weak. It would more likely make me think I was beat by the river. I woulda put him on a middle pocket pair.
