Default QQ UTG facing 3bet shove from tightish player

$26 $24k guarantee, 1200 runners, about 200 left with 135 getting paid. We are in the top 100 at the moment.

Our image should be that of a fairly TAG player, I’ve been raising a lot in LP but not a ridiculous amount and I haven’t been caught out of line yet. In EP I’ve been playing very tightly.

CO is a fairly loose player PF who plays quite a lot of pots but he seems to be at least competent post flop.
BTN hasn’t been playing many hands, I looked back over the last 50 hands to see if he’d been to showdown and what with, and he hasn’t once.

Blinds are 300/600 with a 75 ante and our stack is about 13.5k. We have QQ UTG.

We open to 1550, it folds to CO who calls, BTN shoves for 11.5k, we? (CO is not committed to calling at all, his stack size is similar to mine)

Preflop raise to 2,000.

Given the fact that BTN has been quiet, it seems as though he is happy sneaking into the money and only playing premiums. Fold and find a better situation as your either a huge dog or close to a flip.

Preflop raise is fine, and you have to call, I actually fist pump call.

I instacall here, but folding may be ok too.

Reasons are mainly the stack sizes, BTN will always do this with AK at the very least, other hands like TT-JJ should be in his range too, possibly AQs, etc etc

I think 2000 is too big.

chief when you say its a fist pump call are you taking in to account my image or your own?

Is villain really shoving AQs/JJ/TT very often here? I'd have thought given stack sizes he is more likely to call with these.

He can't call with those hands, it's a 3-way pot and he has no chips. I don't know if those hands are in his range, but they certainly should be.

Your image doesn't matter against a player who never plays a hand. If the guy paid any attention, he sure would've made a move earlier at some point.

umm... he has 20BB's, not a monster stack but certainly in no desperate need of making a move

M is less than 10 and I don't see how he can fold a good hand here with all the money in the pot already. If he folds AK in that spot or flat calls with it he must be retarded. And AK is most likely what he has.
