I'm not expecting him to do anything other than shove with AK.

I put his range on the 1 QQ combo left and KK+/AK, maybe with a few combo's of JJ. Looking back maybe I have massively under estimated his range but like I said, I'd been tight from EP and he had been tight all round.

But even then it's a call? Should be close to a coin flip and there's money in the pot already.

Lol I'm such a nit :-)

I find myself opening a wide range but folding too easily to 3bet shoves. The thing is, at this level I just don't think enough people make the adjustment for us to need to readjust.

Since the read is that he is tight, I can see him pushing 20 BB's with JJ, QQ, KK, AA, and AK.

You're only a slight favorite against AK, completely dominated by AA/KK, forget about QQ, and maaaybe he decided to do this JJ/1010 because of the weak raise. Given those hands, you're behind his range.

Find a better spot against a non-nit and outplay them when you know you're good.

I don't think that's correct. The fishes overvalue Ax hands, esp. SOOTED. And they know they must do something when their M is 10 or lower. With a hand like QQ or AK I instacall every time my stack is somewhat shallow. With AQ or 88+ I might think shortly but probably call most 3-bets too.

since you're utg you can be stealing right? so CO calls expecting to be in position and BTN can squeeze with fairly marginal crap, AJ/TT namely.

why only open for 1550?

given that CO would appear to be coming along for the ride anyway, are u not leaving urself open to this kind of play from a decent thinking player in button/sb/bb?

also, if ur pf raise is slightly larger, it makes for a slightly easier decision when it comes back to u.
