i think it was a good spot to push, regardless of your cards..you just got screwed.

this is almost completely read/table dependent

if my table image and reads on the villain are optimal, I push any two cards there...but you have to use extra discretion when it's the chip leader.

What tournament was it, small stakes or bigger? If it was a $1 MTT, I'd probably fold here, you'll get plenty of opportunities with real hands and blinds aren't going to always understand that calling here with K2o is a bad idea.

As long as neither blind are calling too much, and seem to be playing pretty straight forward, I think a shove is acceptable. You don't want to see a showdown with this hand, so I'd only be doing it where I think they are folding a lot of blinds.

For 1000 extra chips you won't be much better off. Probably a fold and wait for better cards.
