This past Monday I played in a $120 No Limit Hold-em SNG at foxwoods. 10 players, $500 for 1st, $300 for 2nd, $200 for third. I was at peace with the hand I went out on until my "friend" berated me for the way I played it. We were in the money (3 players left), blinds were $300/$600 $75 ante. The chip stacks were approximately $8800 on the button, $2800 in the SB, $8400 (me) in the BB. I hold 10 7 offsuit. The button limps in preflop, SB folds, and I check the option. The flop comes A A 10 rainbow. I have two pair and the betting goes check - check. The turn is a 10 giving me a full house which I check. The button puts in a minimum bet of $600 which I raise to $1800 total and he calls. The river is a J and I make what I think is a value bet of $1800. The button goes through his hollywood routine (which he hadn't done in the SNG) and says " you have nothing, I'm all in." At this point, I'm thinking he probably has a 10 also for a chop or best case, he has a J. I call for the remainder of my chips and he rolls over A 5 for a better full house. So I go out in 3rd when I was looking at 2nd place or better.
My question is was there anything I could've done there or was it just a case of one monster hand beating another monster hand. I told the winner he played it perfectly, which I believe he did.

Second that, I think you misplayed the hand. I can't see your reasoning when raising the turn or calling on the river. But congrats to making it ITM
