I haven't been paying much attention, but i would say villain is a straight forward tag abc style player.
I hate situations like this, i would still have a decent stack if i fold this. Basically I'm worried about 99, 88 and maybe 33. Maybe since i bet the flop, he doesn't put me on a flush, if that's the case would he do this with JJ?

call and lol at him if he has u beaten......hes not calling ur flop bet with 88 and the way he played it, im not giving a straight forward ABC player any credit for a set on the flop......if he has JJ, 99 or 33 cest la vie.

6-max $2 STT?

Insta-call. Watch villain roll over A9. Laugh and take his money.

were you checking river to induce bluffs or are you genuinely scared of a boat? snap call.

I called and he had 88, oh well.
piv, yes i did check the river because i was scared of a boat. I often find myself in situations like this, usually ring games, and this is why i hate being oop so much, i dont know weather to check or bet.
