Default Settle an argument

This is tournament was played on felt.

30 players initially. 20 eliminated. 10 left. Top 4 get paid. Payouts, 10%, 15%, 25%, 50%.

AJ starts with 6k in chips
BB starts with 3100 in chips.

10 handed. Blinds at 150 300.

5 folds,

AJ raises to 700 with , fold, fold, SB folds.

BB goes all in 3100.

AJ has approx 6000 chips.

Read on BB is that he's very likely to have 9's or better, AQ, AK. BB rarely, if ever, has pushed in that situation with 2nd tier hands.

Should AJ call?

6000 before or after putting in 700? Is the 3100 allin before or after his BB? What level is this, how many people started & how many left? What is payout? What is BB playing style (LAG, maniac, super-tight)? Although answers to all of this would help, if you expect BB has a hand, fold. 1/2 your stack on A8s is -ev.

I fold...either you're beat or hes laughing at the fact that you made an almost minraise and knows that you'er not that strong either. Not to mention I dont want to decimate my stack on a marginal hand when I still ahve an M of about 13 to work with a better hand in a better spot. You made a play and got caught...Chuck it.

I added more info to the original post. BB is tight / aggressive. Solid player. Never have seen him 2 bet with less then AJ / 9's.

Easy pf fold. In the given situation, you can fold to the reraise without hesitation.
