Seen a similar hand a while ago on 2p2 and the general consensus was if you're calling that 3bet pf you're calling to CRAI on basically any flop.

Depends how light you think he's 3betting of course, but if he's the big stack then i'd be taking the above line. Then again im shithouse at tournaments.

Check folding flop is fine, check calling 3k is way better than making this silly lead and having no idea what to do (fold) when he shoves.

Don't make the hand harder to play than it has to be. Always bet with a plan. IF you are betting here, its because you are hoping to induces shoves from many weaker hands, in which case you call. However I dont like a bet call here. With your read, check folding is probably the best play.
