I doubt he was folding no matter what you bet. He would've gone all-in with his OESD + FD. It's $1 level, people almost always risk it all on draws hoping they gain a massive stack. Nothing you could've done here. He was actually a slight favourite on the flop, so his call was warranted. He had about 33% on the turn (15 outs), so calling 400 into 1150 pot is so damn close to being the correct odds that of course he's taking the chance if it means getting more chips when he hits. Bet bigger on the turn on hands like these, at least 3/4 of the pot. Then check/fold the river if such a big draw is completed (unless you have reason to believe the guy would be calling all the way with a pair or something weak).

well i knocked this guy out at FT. finished the tourney in 3rd and cant complain, after being shortstacked quite a bit.

Thanks for your input tho, I really appreciate it. I am trying hard to become a better player, so am going to try and post more hands. Is the tex like tht or ok? or does anyone suggest an easy HH converter?

400 in to 1150 is just under 3:1, that is more than enough if he is 33% to win (2:1)

i think it was 400 into an 800. so he still barely had the odds here though.

as played, fold to his river bet
