personally I would have folded PF because I hate having to call his allin on the flop or turn with 22's, plus you can't play the hand for set value because you there is not enough chips out there to play for. As played I agree with weak tight.

This is almost completely player dependent.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

Agreed, but I'm still trying to fine tune my short handed game so I thought I'd ask.
fwiw, I had the UTG player labeled as a fairly tight donk, and the Button as a run of the mill low limit donk who occasionally shoves wildly. I'd stolen the blinds as I pleased from the UTG player and had generally been playing quite aggressively against him.
The PF call I don't really feel bad about tbh, it's a four handed table and I figured I'd easily have UTG's stack if I hit. This particular flop just didn't look all that bad to me either as it'd be an easy fold for UTG if he missed and Button had been passively calling PF and folding to bets post flop. My fold to the 3bet is obv.
I guess I was wondering if this type of move on this flop is too aggro despite it being a chip leader vs. short stack situation...consensus seems to be yes so far. I did end up taking first place down on this, though

I don't mind the call PF here, as it's not costing you anything of concern and would be extremely easy to knock him out if you hit your set, but when missing, check/fold. The best situation for you is him having AT/AJ/AQ in which case he still has a fair chance to suck out.

I don't see a problem with calling this preflop. It's one more blind (and you have 25BB), and you're already invested in the hand.
However, I definitely would not bet the flop. This flop is screaming check/fold.Well over $300,000 free every month in 2011 with freerolls, rake races, and rake chases!
