When UTG+1 Reraised your raise alarm bells should have started going off, that being said I would have 'fallen in love' with my pocket jack's aswell and done exactly what you did. I don't think you did anything wrong

if im gonna play most flops aggressively with jj early, i def. like to raise more preflop. I've been playing a lot of step sngs on stars lately and my fav. play in step 1 (low level sngs) is to open raise 10x bb with aa and kk. With JJ in levels 1 and 2 I'll also quite often limp just to flop a set or try to play a small pot if I flop an over pair, but I'll also raise in pos. also. I guess it just depends on the table and the mood I'm in.
After you raised the flop, I don't think you can fold just because its online and there are a ton of donks that will show up with a7, str8 draw, or flush draw. If it was a big buyin sng, where i assume players are more competent, I could lay it down after I raised the flop bet, against the right player obv. Your action on the flop is not terrible but protect your hand more preflop by raising moreLast edited by gigahung; 11-15-2007 at 07:33 AM.

I think other than maybe raise 1 or 2 bb more pf this is good. 1010 99 88 are all stacking off at these levels. 35 is just a donkey getting lucky.
iif u raise my raise one more ****ing time i will come over there and slit ur throat
