    Default Miniraiser

Mid stage of a freeroll tourney. About 1300 players left. I've been moved to many different tables so I don't have any experience with the miniraiser.

Big Blind is t300 (9 handed)

    MP2 (t2630)
    MP3 (t9265)
    CO (t15833)
    Button (t7518)
    Hero (t7000)
    BB (t5205)
    UTG (t5540)
    UTG+1 (t32260)
    MP1 (t13125)

Preflop: Hero is SB with , .
6 folds, Button raises to t600, Hero calls t450, 1 fold.

    * A miniraise pre-flop.

    Flop: (t1290) , , (2 players)
Hero bets t1500, Button raises to t3000

    * A miniraise on the flop. From my experience against miniraiser, they usually have some thing a little good but not so good. He could have raised with a medium pocket pair, two cards better than 10 or AX. Since there are significant money in the pot I decided to push.

Hero raises to t6370, Button calls t3370.

    Turn: (t14030) (2 players)

    River: (t14030) (2 players)

    Final Pot: t14030

    Results in white below:
Hero has 9d Qs (two pair, queens and threes).
Button has Ah Qc (two pair, queens and threes).
    Outcome: Button wins t14030.

What do you think? Would you have folded to the miniraise?

I think don't overbet the flop and fold to the raise.

    The converter had some problem I think. At the time the flop was 30(Ante) x 9 + 300 + 600 + 600 = 1770. So I almost bet the flop but didn't overbet.

People have been semibluffing with a lot of flush draws in other tables. That's partly why I think the opponent could have some kinds of draws as well.

You have a pair with a dodgy kicker on a drawy board and you're getting raised. What do you beat?

Nothing wrong with taking the dudes blind IMO.

Not to mention you don't have a read, and he can bury you. If he was t2000, I'd consider raising all in, as it was fold PF without premium cards, much better spots to come.

As played, I think a minraise of your huge pot bet is generally the nutz.
