    Default obvious fold right?

    im new to these 4/180's .....this was obv very early so no reads

    Poker Stars
    No Limit Holdem Tournament
    Blinds: t10/t20
    9 players
    Converter

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: t1250
    UTG+1: t1002
    MP1: t2304
    Hero: t1410
    MP3: t1722
    CO: t1193
    Button: t1126
    SB: t1256
    BB: t1490

    Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP2 with
    UTG raises to t80, UTG+1 calls t80 (pot was t110), MP1 folds, Hero raises to t340, 5 folds, UTG raises all-in t1250, UTG+1 folds, Hero folds.
    Uncalled bets: t910 returned to UTG.

    Results:
    Final pot: t790

    Personally I am not prepared to risk my tournament this early with these cards.

    If he has low pockets your 50/50, if he has AA or KK you are further behind. While it would be nice to double up against a donkey there will be plenty of other chances to do that if you just fold, lick your wounds and wait for another opurtunity

    why would you re raise that much if you weren't willing to take it all the way with AK, i call.

    Why do you want to raise to... 17X BB? It is a little too much. I am surprised someone actually reraise all in - he must have AA!! And even if you have KK it would be a good lay down.

    i raised 4x the original raise, i dont see that as being a mistake....it may be, i just didnt want to call off all my chips with AKo and look like an idiot when he shows AA
