    Default Good fold?

Still early ( 30-40 mins in ) in an $4/180

    CO (t1110)
    Button (t6952)
    SB (t2590)
    Hero (t2740)
    UTG (t1105)
    UTG+1 (t625)
    MP1 (t1696)
    MP2 (t1030)
    MP3 (t657)

Preflop: Hero is BB with , .
    1 fold, UTG+1 raises to t625, 5 folds, SB calls t600, 1 fold.

    Flop: (t1300) , , (2 players)

    Turn: (t1300) (2 players)

    River: (t1300) (2 players)

    Final Pot: t1300

    Results in white below:
SB has Kh Ah (high card, ace).
    UTG+1 has 9h 9c (three of a kind, nines).
    Outcome: UTG+1 wins t1300.

When it got round to the SB he thought for a while and I basically said to myself, if he folds then I'll call but if he calls then I'm folding as I dont need to be racing so early and in a 3 way pot.

    Too tight? or sensible?

With the SB's cold call I shove over the top of him to isolate UTG+1, sb should fold (I haven't seen what he had) to this really and there will be so much dead money in the pot with only 1/4 of your stack invested you'll be in great shape.

That said, it was a big initial call for sb to make....hmm.....I still shove

    I call this.

EP is looking to pick up a pot, so you may have him beat already, and you have position on SB, so you can escape this hand easily if needed. You may be commiting 1/4 of your stack here, but you aren't in a position to be sitting on your stack either. It's too early to be resting here. You have position. Call this and then check it down if possible.

UTG+1 raised 12X BB. That's usually a sign for large pocket pairs, and AK becomes a slight underdog. Fold!

UTG+1 had a short stack and could make this move with a wide range of hands. However, being the nit I am, I prolly would have folded as well.

I fold this early in, too. You've got to give one of them credit for a pocket pair.
