Pay him off?

Since BB is the only one in the pot, you almost have to pay him off here. Especially since he is solid/tricky. He could have 2 hearts in his hand, but a "solid" player wouldn't be chasing a FD against the odds. You are getting about 2 to 1 to call. I think you have to call.

We can disregard the statement about him being a solid player by his call PF.
Online - if it was deep stacked and I had a load of chips left I'd consider folding but it would be fucking tough.
Live - with him throwing his chips in like that I'm calling. I agree with Caro.

I'd go with Navarro and fold it (only cos I thought his book was better than Caro's
).
jharding - he could still be a solid player calling pf, I'm not always 3betting this and quite often will just set mine with mid pairs etc.
Online I go "son of a bitch" and call. For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
