I don't make this play. I'm either making a 3/4 pot sized bet or check-calling a pot sized or smaller bet, reevaluating on the turn. This is a dangerous push as I can really only see a set, made flush, or pair with FD making this call. If he's a donkey, he might call with a naked FD, but then you are still only about a 2 to 1 favorite. Less so if he has overs.

I dont like it at all. What's he calling with that doesnt either beat you already or at least a high spade with 2 overs?

How could you ever put a person on 77 with only a 4xBB raise from the CO? If you are saying that he called with 77, then you were very fortunate that he's a complete donkey. Making that push is definitely -EV

77 should fold. Oh, sure you get a donk call sometimes but it's -ev in the long run. I try to look at the game long term, not hand-by-hand. Can't be results orientated even if you do win.

I'm bad at tourneys but that is terrible.

You know an 8 high flush draw isn't actually that good right?

Thinking of it now, it wasen't a good play pushing like that. Pot size bet would of have done it. It was a very bad play
