Default Bad Play or Bad Luck?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (7 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

    Hero (t7384)
    SB (t4625)
    BB (t2655)
    UTG (t8665)
    MP1 (t7050)
    MP2 (Villian) (t14430)
    CO (t6865)

Villian has been very agressive, playing last 6 of 10 hands and taking down the pot uncontested 4 times by making a 3X pre-flop raise. His stack has flucuated given his loose aggressive play. 180 players started, down to 50.

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
    2 folds, MP2 (Villian) raises to t900, 1 fold, Hero raises to t2700, 2 folds, MP2 (Villian) calls t1800.

I figure my hole cards are plenty strong for a reraise given his recent agreesive play. He calls and I put him on two unpaired high cards or a medium pair.

    Flop: (t5525) , , (2 players)
Villian checks, Hero bets t2700, Villian raises to t5400

I hit top pair and make another healthy raise. I'm reraised another 2,700 leaving me with 1,959... Hero?

Edit - Hand Result in white

Hero reraises all in and Villian takes down the pot with a set of 5's.

I don't like to 3-bet with such a weak holding this early. With position, I will often cold-call here, as long as I know the blinds aren't getting too frisky. This raise pretty much commits you on the flop.

A cold call commits villain to a c-bet on this flop, your raise will likely take down the pot.

As played PF, lead at least 3200 on the flop.

EDIT: A PF fold is not out of the question either.
If you are one in a million, there's eight just like you in Manhattan.

Given the stack sizes and the villains description, I would call preflop

as played, what can you do, you have to call

Not too much wrong with your play. KQ can be v dodgy. Personally i hate his preflop call. Out of position with 55..not good.He either folds or puts you on 2 overs and pushes hoping you fold.

I'd put it more on bad luck than bad play

Since he was used to getting his way with aggressive bets he could have been full of shit... I would call & hope he didn't have a set.
