    Default Correct play ?

Playing HU against a guy who raises 3x BB often preflop. I figure he goes with the "raise any ace, any pair, any king, suited connectors"

    I have 2200 he has 700

    I get dealt A-8 offsuit.

I raise 3 times BB, to 90 he pushes all in and after a few seconds thought I called. He flipped over pocket 10's but I sucked out and hit an ace on the flop.

Regardless of the outcome, was this a correct play ? If I would of lost, we would be even in chips.

    What do you think ?

unless he has shown a propensity to push all in over your 3x raises frequently, you should fold this

I thought of it after and I should have folded yeah.

But I guess I was affected from the previous game playing a maniac that went all in with cards like 9-7 and Q-3...

But I think it should be a 65% of times fold, 35% call. I put him on KQ that's why I Called, but my read was incorrect.

Instead of putting someone on just one hand, you should focus on putting them on a range of hands that they will play this way, then see how your hand stacks up against their range and play accordingly from there.
Could god microwave a burrito so hot, that he himself could not eat it?
