AKs is a drawing hand. I may raise if not raised first, but I like to see flop. Then it can be called a "made hand".

there's nothing wrong with going all in preflop with AKs (I do it all the time) but you need to give us some more reads and info here. how often does MP raise pf? have you 3bet at this table much if at all? have you 3bet specifically MP yet? this is a stretch, but have you seen him 4bet anything before?
against a total unknown my standard play is probably to fold to the 4bet, if you assign him a range of QQ+ you only have 35% equity.

I agree completely.
If I have just arrived at the table and have no reads on the villain then I would assume from the 4bet that they have at the very least 10-10+.
If you have been playing at the table for a while and the villain is playing quite tight, then once again his betting would probably indicate that he is holding a high pocket pair (in my limited cash game experience).
However, if the villain is playing quite loose and you have seen him make moves before with midpairs/AK/AQ/A10/Axsuited then you might be more inclined to call. Also, if you have been 3betting a lot the villain might have decided to take a stand and could hold a wide range of hands from high suited connectors all the way up to AA.
Am i kind of on the right track here? Squeezyplayer has pretty much said what I am thinking anyways.....BOLD AGGRESSIVE MOVES

AKs is a hand you want to see all 5 cards with so I can't fault shoving, especially at NL25 where it wouldn't shock me to see some really weak hands from the villain.
But, as squeezy said, this is read dependent. At these levels I don't mind doing it without reads (I don't give people credit until I've seen proof they aren't a donk, law of averages really as there aren't that many solid NL25 players around) but if he's some 12/2/1 nit then I don't like it and probably just call behind his original raise. If he's 30/25/5 then by all means shove as fast as you can.
Picky thing though, I'd make that 3bet bigger, probably $3 ish.For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
