[king] [10] of clubs
my friend gets dealt not that i know it [7h] [10s]
I raise preflop to 80p as my now the blinds are 20p 40p
Friends X calls my raise the other 2 people fold
flop comes [Ac As 5d]
i bet 40p.
X raises to 80p.
at this point im thinking hmm bluff so i re-raise an extra 160p
X calls.
turn card [3d] by this point im thinking i give up ill check and see what he does if he has anything
X checks
last card [7c] i check he checks
X takes down the pot i have only 120p left now after that little flurry and bluffing where did i go wrong obviously the bluff out of turn was but i knew he had nothing!
After this i lost the game as i was so short staked and went all in preflop on aces and someone drew the flush!

The first mistake is min raising pre flop. This is NEVER a good idea. Make a raise of 3-4xBB. £1.20 would be fine.
On the flop I think you need to bet more, about 2/3 to 3/4 pot sized should be good and fold to any raise. Your bluff re raise wasn't enough either. IF you want to make this move then make it big, at least £3 i reckon but it's very risky, I prefer a fold.
You got very unlucky that this guy was so terrible AND got very lucky on the river

i thought i should of pushed the raise a bit more :S and ideally should of folded but i could just tell he had nothing! and was going to call what ever i did very frustrating. Ideally a fold would of been the best thing

First I think you need to work on structuring your games properly.
You had £4 and the blinds were 20p-40p. This means that you began the hand with 10 big blinds in your stack. This is a very small stack and so doesn't allow for much play on the later streets (as you found out).
If you want to play cash poker (when people bust out they can rebuy and people can join/leave game at any point) The blinds stay the same the whole night and I recommend that you make the big blind approximately 1/50th to 1/100th of your starting chips. 1/50th is probably best when you start out.
If you want to play tournament poker (when your chips are gone you are out an no rebuys and you get 1 winner) I recommend that you start with around 50 times the big blind in your stack but then increase the blinds (double them every 20 minutes or so). This will ensure that people get a bit of a chance play at the start then as the blinds increase action is forced and you will get your winner.
Hope that helps. Any other questions feel free to ask. When I first stared playing out poker we really had no idea what we were doing and you will probably enjoy the game alot more when you get a better structure (Unless your a bunch of degenerate gamblers in which case structure is fine, up the stakes and am I invited?
