Default Early in Deep Stack Tourney

Fairly passive table. Raised pots usually 2 or 3 handed. I've shown one hand... pocket 6s that hit set on flop. Folded almost every other hand. Thought I'd take a shot at this one.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    SB (t4960)
    BB (t4550)
    UTG (t2320)
    UTG+1 (t9280)
    MP1 (t4580)
    Hero (t5070)
    MP3 (t5360)
    CO (t3970)
    Button (t4850)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J, Q.
3 folds, Hero raises to t50, 4 folds, BB calls t30.

    Flop: (t110) 9, J, 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t90, BB raises to t220, Hero ????

Should PF raise have been more? I'm going for 2.5-3.5x BB. This one was 2.5x. What to do after he C/R me on flop?

If you raise pf it should really be to 80 or so. I don't think a limp is bad here, but first in I suppose a raise is fine.

As played, I call and re-evaluate the turn. You're deepstacked and have position so I'd let a card come off.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
