Default AK in LP against über donk

No stats on villain since I don't have PT on my laptop yet, but had seen him limp/call with crap all day long and flop the world twice.

After each win, he went on to berate his opponent, claiming himself to be essentially a poker god.

On an earlier hand, he led out on a ragged flop into my PF raise. I raised with air, he called and push on the turn, to which I folded. After that him, he and another player were commenting on how badly I played then hand.

    OK, enough background.

Hmm, I probably pop the turn up to 2.5k. It's a very drawy board and the chances are he's trying to keep the pot small either because he has a mediocre pair or a fd/straight draw.

    Calling isn't bad though.

    Poker Rule Number 1:

DO NOT BLUFF A CALLING STATION.

    Lesson Over.

How do we know he's a calling station? He called a bluff and shoved on the turn, that doesn't necessarily mean much.

EDIT: I just read the first line, lol. Even so, he just tends to see as many flops as possible, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll call down anything postflop. I'd still be tempted to raise this turn. There's a good enough chance you're actually ahead and have as many as 10 outs if not.

He's splashing around alot and giving the impression he won't fold (as was proven in HH) a weak 9 here for example.
If I am raising that weak lead I want to think a guy can lay down AT, a weak J, an eight for the idiot end of straight draw etc. I wouldn't be confdent this guy folds 66.

Call all the way for pot odds.

Raising is gambling that he's capable of laying down a better hand. Villians who minbet every street are never bluffing from my experience. In fact bottom pair or an underpair to the board like pocket fives is exactly what I put him on here.

If I raise the flop, I'm raising the turn. Every time.

Against this type of opponent, I'm probably just calling on every street then raising the river big.

lol, thats about the WORST possible flop to bluff raise. he could have all sorts of pairs/draws that call you. let alone the fact that hes a loose player.

I will probably raise minimum or 3x bb after flop not more. if he calls then I just call his next bet or check if he checks to see a free river to see if I got my straight. He can have any small pair and still beat a straight draw.

I take it you just call him down then?

I felt there was a slim chance I was ahead here, at the very least that he was incredibly weak with such a bitch bet into a PF raiser. And he was, he's just stupid. Granted I knew he was stupid and it is my fault for not taking that into account, but still.
