    Default AAAAAARGH

I didn't know if I should post this here or under River Rats. I decided to post here to make something positive come out of this hand.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (9 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

    MP2 (t1445)
    MP3 (t4245)
    CO (t1215)
    Button (t1430)
    SB (lynnie909) (t1995)
    Hero (t1460)
    UTG (t320)
    UTG+1 (t1905)
    MP1 (t985)

Preflop: Hero is BB with , .
2 folds, MP1 calls t50, 2 folds, CO calls t50, Button calls t50, SB completes, Hero raises to t350, MP1 folds, CO calls t300, Button folds, SB calls t300.

Did I put in the right size raise here or should I have raised around 450 to 500?
I wanted to raise just enough to get one caller.

    Flop: (t1150) , , (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t500, CO raises to t865, SB calls t865, Hero calls t365.

Here I think I should have just pushed all in instead of betting less than half the pot. The pot was worth winning right here. but I wanted the short stalk to push all in if he had a pair. ( stupid greed ) I don't know why I didnt reraise after the SB called

    Turn: (t3745) (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t245 (All-In), SB calls t245.

    River: (t4235) (3 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: t4235

    Results in white below:
SB has 7h Kh (flush, king high).
Hero has Ad Ah (two pair, aces and jacks).
CO has Tc Ks (two pair, jacks and tens).
    Outcome: SB wins t4235.

So was my preflop bet correct and should I have pushed all in on the flop
The part that really suxs is that the SB went on to win the SNG Bad play getting rewarded

From 'the Alex' post on dID I PLAY THIS WELL

1.) Overlimp. It's early. You have nothing to gain and all to lose. If you were on the button or in the blinds, I'd like a raise, but the general SNG rule this deep is 3bbs plus 2bbs per limper. Your raise is overkill.

So according to this I should have raised 550?

    K7h wtf?

Even if you push on the flop he was probably going to call.

    I'd fucking hope so!

I think 350 is the least you can raise here, meaning it isn't bad, but I'd be leaning for slightly higher, maybe 450-500.

Oh and no reason to not get it in on the flop, sucks the river wasn't a heart

I would make it 500 here. I think 350 is a little too small.

Postflop all the money's going in whatever you do so I don't mind your 500 bet. If someone has a pair and a flush draw they're not going anywhere anyway even if you shove and if betting half pot may entice a bluff raise or a call from a pocket pair thats obviously good for you.
