No disrespect to Vic, he is a huge favourite over me in stud for example but I believe I have a big edge over him in NLHE and I feel this is crucial. Against Patrik Antonius my chips are straight into this pot and if he calls with a coin flipping hand I'd be delighted. However do I want to flip a coin in blind level 1 against a player I perceive I am a favourite against?
If I call I will still have a stack of 810 chips and blinds at 10/20 if I then have to fold further on in the hand. This would keep me very much in the game so if I call and check turn, I can fold any non club, ace or 9 and still keep these 810 chips. I think there is a possibility get a free river since Vic may not be too happy with a lot of his hands once he's been called on the flop and may also slowplay a flush giving me a free river. Is this a better option than just shoving it all in here when I give myself very little fold equity and am probably putting Vic on an overpair to the board?
If you are pushing here would your decision change to a flat call if you had the button?
Am i thinking too much and it's just an instapush?

You have top pair with the nut flush draw facing a pot that it is now over half your stack size. End it now. Push it in.
Though he's probably got a set.BOSS

I'm surprised at the consensus here.
You guys don't think he can easily have an overpair or set here and I'm flipping a coin with a 75bb stack in hand 2? In a cash game its a very easy push but I mean if I lose this hand (as I did) I am all but out of the PFO HU NLHE tournament. These are high stakes!

i'm actually surprised that you took time to think about the push. thats probably why i called you down. i put you on the high club and maybe middle pair. if you insta push, i probably fold. you took time to think and i put you on a tough push with a strong draw and figured i was ahead. i know people will think that its crap but thats how i determined my call.
f*cking it up for everyone else since 1969.
