Default NL25 - AK, float the flop?

    Villains stats are 23/9/1.86/162

With villain having such a low PFR% I figured his UTG raise would mean a pretty big hand which is why I flat called PF. Should I repop him from 2nd position here?

As for the flop, would I be way out of line to float it given his low AF?

Yeah I think so... anything including 99 and above is a very real possibility and he's also making this bet OOP. If the board was a little more draw heavy for you so you had more outs than the overs then it might be more appropriate.

    9% isn't TOO low of a pfr, I'm still re-popping AK here.

As played I would fold. You called a raise at nl25 and missed the flop. so fold. theres no need to do otherwise.

I repop this pf, up to $3.50 or so.

TA's right, you should probably just fold this on the flop. IF you wanted to get frisky, calling would be ok imo, with the plan to take it away on the turn if he checks and there's always the chance you'll nail your 6 outer (if he bets again though I'd probably give up, his AF is such that he'll cbet but only follow through on the turn with a hand).

But yeah, at NL25 there's really no need to "think" too much, just fold.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
