    Default Wrong to get involved?

Very first hand. Should I not be involved in pots. I can't see how I want to get away from this hand.

Yes, MP2 was wrong to get involved and to call both bets.

Oh, you mean you? Yeah, you probably should have folded everything except AA, KK, QQ, JJ, and AK here.

You are in very early position, so just folding PF was a possibility. Personally I play it the same as you, but most other sit n go players on the forum will fold that early in order to play push/fold around the bubble. Apart from that I think there is nothing you could have done. You got your money in as a good favorite, and got rivered, it happens.

Obviously this should be in river rats.
What can we say? Next time you should fold top 2 pair just incase someone else has a lower pair and rivers a 2 outer on you. Awful play by you.

Sweet thanks. I know most people muck these, myself included, but I've been trying to change my game a little. I'm tryin to get involved cheap in pots early on to build a bit more of a stack before the bubble. I seem to get a lot of 3rd place finishes since I'm the "whipping boy" as alex puts it once ITM, but if I have a bigger stack going into the bubble I seem to end up chip leader once we're in the money and I'm able to keep the pressure on the two smaller stacks, forcing them to shove each other, resulting in a lot more second place finishes for me, and more often first since heads up is pretty easy.

In the Low buy in SNG it seems like the donks will call in the first orbit with alot of junk. so preflop I would play usually fold AJ. Post flop I would play it the same. If a guy is slow playing a made set already oh well. You just got called by a donkey. The good news is he will does this same play again which means more $ for the rest of us.

The bolded part is all right. I do the same. But not UTG+1, that's just bad. If you're going to see flops cheaps do it from LP, CO, and button. So you're behind everyone to act just in case the flop comes dangerous.

So if we forget about my complete disregard for position, getting all my chips in post flop is fine?

you do understand that you have top 2 pair on the turn, right?

preflop is a fold for me early in a mtt. whats just going to happen is you are going to limp and its going to get raised, or you are going to raise and get 60 callers. both of which sucks because you have AJo oop
