Don't usually play limit (forced to because of the Spring Series) and this flop confused the hell out of me. What do I do?

Fold. There are two things I've learned from limit: Aces are what people raise with (if they don't suck), mostly just aces + a good kicker, or a pair of aces or kings in the hole. Secondly: Never try to bluff someone out. Since there are two overcards on the flop, one that would warrent a raise, the other POSSIBLY warrenting a raise pre-flop, you want to get out of there as soon as he bets. Pre-flop, I don't quite know. I play in the low limits, where capping is not uncommon at ALL. Especially with awesome hands like 72s.

ANYWAY, the point is that pre-flop, I am quite sure he had at least one ace, maybe KQs if you're lucky. Maybe KK if you're very unlucky. After the flop, he has at least a pair, maybe 2 or trips. Don't raise with this, just get out. The only possible motive I can see you having for raising would be to bluff. Do this in limit VERY rarely, especially at micro and low stakes, if you happen to be on them.

Edit: Oh, and if there are 4 big bets in the pot, and your opponent has just bet (even if you're SURE it's a bluff), then a raise on the flop (still in SMALL bets, remember) will work less than 1% of the time.

Never try to bluff someone out? What's your reasoning behind that?

Maybe not never, but in limit games it becomes a LOT more difficult to bluff a person out, especially in a pot that's got 4 big bets already.
