    Default 5 left, 88 UTG

So I'm UTG with 1.4k in chips in a 9 man SNG. Blinds are now 75/150, and I have 88. Do I call, raise, all in, or fold? I'll let you know how it turned out after I get a few replies.

It really depends on the other stacks and where they're seated. This is closer than you might think.

One to the left of me had maybe 2k in chips, guy to the left of him had 4k, and guy to the left of him had about 6k, IIRC.

    Shove
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Whoops, miscalculation. For some reason, I was thinking there were 4 guys left there. BB's 5k-6k. I don't remember SB's stack, but I think it must have been somewhere around mine.

What site was it on and how loose are the people calling? I can run a sim, but this looks like a fold.

They were fairly tight. I figured that there was a good chance of all of them folding if I went all in, unless someone had a hand that was at least a coin flip. It was on Pokerstars.

Pretty simple way of assessing it... what was your gut feeling on your fold equity if you shove? Too many times I get caught up in making textbook correct shoves but something in the back of my mind says my table image is looking awful and I'm about to get looked up by some awful cards, when folding isn't awful.
