    Default Is this as stuipid as I think it is?

    Stats on villain 49.2/6.3/1.75 after 70 hands or so.

    I had punished him on a few hands for check calling me down with 2nd pair.

    Was this just an unjustified, stupid play?

    Not only that he has bet but he has more than pot committed himself. Even if he's on a steal he is going to call you down. You are only ahead of kj or aj no reason to push here.
