    Default SNG hand

I played lots of live SNGs lately... the format is awful but the crowd is so bad it really worths it... Boring to play, but I make more $$$ playing them VS cash game... So I have try to play at least 2 every day.

I think I handle the format pretty well but I want STT specialists opinion on that situation... went trough it twice today, played it very differently, and both time I was wrong...

As I said format is awfull.
    $60
    you start with 5000
blinds 50-100 going up every 15 minutes (100-200-400-600-800-1000-1200... no cap)
Pay outs: $350-$150-$60 (thats where it worth it)

    Here are the hands
    #1
already 6 handed after 20 minutes
    Blinds 100-200
    I did'nt play a single hand
    Both opp covers me.

BB: Calling station... won 2 big pot already both calling big flop bets with marginal holdings and hitting the turn hard... once 2 pairs, the other time hit the gutshot
Button: Calling station as well... won a big pot when he called an all in reraise with K9... suck it out!!! It was only 2000 tho but he still had players acting
    behind him!!

    They both covers me...

    I have TT on CO
    foldes to me
    I raise 800

    Button and BB calls

    Flop comes J 8 3 rainbow

    Check
    I bet 1400 (I only have
    Call
    call

I now have 2600 in chips

    turn 3
    Check
    I check
    Button bets 1000!!!??? WTF
    BB folds WTF
I think and I fold too... one of them might have the J and if not the 3... and its probably button

    Button shows K8!!! Dam it
He said I knew you had nothing...
He then called my all in (only 2200 tho) with 86o and sucked it out of my AQs

Where did I fucked it up? DO you push the turn?

    Hand #2:
    Same situation but other SNG
played only one hand and it was all in preflop with AA (I showed)... every body folded and I picked up a pretty nice pot... about 2000, a raiser and 2 callers + the blinds

    I have 7K
button and BB (are calling stations as well but they are better than the 2 others)

    Blinds 100-200
    7 handed

    I raise 800 from UTG+1 with JJ
    Button and BB calls

    Flop comes Q75 (2 diamonds)

    BB checks
    I bet 1500
    call
    call

    turn 6 (non diamond)

    Check
    I push for 4 500
    button fold
    BB insta call with QT!!!

    River J!

WHAT? I have the right to suck it out some time too!!!!
I then went to win the thing.

That said I got caugt it it was obviously the wrong move...

Do you think in this kind of format it would more more profitable to check every flop you dont have at least TP?

I'll probably get flamed but 1st hand I shove the flop. We've got about 4k behind us and there's 2.5k in the middle so it is an overbet but otherwise you need to be betting so much that you'd be committed anyway so you might as well maximise your fold equity.

As played you could shove the turn but its very risky. You're basically praying they're on straight draws or holding an 8.

2nd hand I definitely shut down after the flop. They've both called your flop bet so surely one of them has to have you beat and you know they're not letting weak Q's go. Just try and showdown as cheaply as possible although you may have to get out of it on the turn depending on how the betting goes.

1st hand I def. shove the flop. I may even consider just open-pushing pre.

Given the reads (calling stations) I'd try to avoid situations like this in the first place. Either I'd want a lot of money in the pot, so it's a push/fold decision postflop. Or I'd keep the pot small enough to get away from a losing hand. That would mean limping with those hands.
