With that teaser bet.. it is very much possible that he was on a draw. Sometimes it's best to just lay them down.. lol But that thirty bet was such a sucker punch! lol..

To be honest I am either raising the flop or folding it. No point in calling down. It's just a waste of chips.

I raise the flop to like 250 and get out to any action. I hate bitch bets like 30 on that board.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Villian has one of two things.. a queen and thinks by betting minimum they can prevent you from betting a lot to see a cheap card/ cheap showdown. I think you have to raise the flop if he has a queen he folds if he calls you know he's got the diamond draw. I hate that minimum bet by the villian it's the donk version of a preventional bet. Those bets just frustrate the shit out of me. 90% of the time I come over the top of those donk bets they three bet it in or MINIMUM RERAISE.

I know I should have re-raised, just seems like every so often I have the one bad hand where I play like a donk. Happened just now too. Had KJ suited and raised on the button, SB called and flop came J high, he bet out on every street and every time i just flat called even though I said to myself "hes got AJ", sure enough thats what he had. The only saving grace is that I don't let that one hand kill my chances and go back to playing patiently.

Oh this is SNG play btw.

Dude that is the thing. Fundamental poker says that you will save yourself money in the long run if you bet out on the flop (assuming you initiated the preflop raising). This saves you money for two reasons: first you may get them to fold a decent amount of the time thus taking the pot virtually uncontested, and second because if they have something they are gonna 3bet or call and then you can evaluate the turn.
