    Default Bet the turn?

New table so no reads on the players, should I bet this turn, and if so how much? Or is the board to dangerous and I should just try and show down cheaply?

(I do agree I could have limped PF as the blinds are still low and it's a fairly weak opening hand from this position)

I fold pre-flop, or very occaisonally I may limp in.

As played I probably bet about 250 on the turn.

I fold this pre-flop the vast majority of the time OOP.

As played I would play this the same as you i.e get to a cheap showdown. There's 480 chips in there and you're only going to get called by better hands and also risk getting bluffed off the best hand as well because you can't call a raise. If the river wasn't a Jack or other heart I may throw out a value bet if no-one else is betting, but that is a horrible board for Aces with a T kicker.

I fold this most of the time but on the occasions when I do play (20% or so) I'll raise to 120-150. I never limp this.

As played I probably play postflop the same.

having not folded pf, am i the only one who thinks u HAVE to bet this turn?

by not betting ur letting everyone else get a free chance to beat u which, apparently, is a cardinal sin

the way lots of people play at these early levels, any card on river may hit someones Ax and any Q, J, T, 6 or heart on river may be real bad cards for u.

theres 480 out there at the minute, which is worth winning, so im betting out 250-300 here..........by checking, ur basically giving it up and its very lucky that ur obv sitting with a passive table as noone made any attempt to steal it at any point - remember this.

Nine times outta ten, the actions speak for themselves.....everyone has checked to u twice and saying that they dont have an awful lot so take ur chance to win it right now with what seems to be the best hand.

of course, as u said urself, this is a weak hand and folding ATo in MP pf saves a lot of headaches later on.

I do like betting and was thinking about it in my original reply but I'm not sure at how many worse hands are calling/better hands are folding. I'd mix it up with checking, probably 50/50 but no reads tempts me more toward checking. If I bet I go for 300
