Default Bet sizing on the river

This was in a $5 45 man SnG on FT. I'd got off to a very good start, tripling up early on with JJ.

First off, I know a lot of you are going to scream at me to re raise PF but I decided to call for a few reasons: to disguise my hand and probably win a huge pot if i hit and I had position. The big stack on the table has been a bit of a donk so I know if I hit he may well double me up.

Hero has Kc Ah (two pair, aces and kings).
    Outcome: Hero wins t3720.

On the flop I raised to find out whether or not the BB had a 5 because I thought it would be a fair flop to lead out on with the K there.
When he didn't 3 bet me I thought he could well have a 5, maybe a hand like A5s, 56s, 45s. With a big king I thought he might come over the top of me assuming I wouldn't have a 5 and thinking he could get me off a hand like KT/KJ. I also thought he'd fold a weak king, K9-K2 (apart from K5 obviously).

On the turn I checked because I thought if he had a 5 then he probably would check this to me as that turn was certainly not a scare card for him. I wanted to see what he did on the river.

On the river when he checked to me I was fairly certain he didn't have a 5 and put him on a hand like KQ-KT. How much would you bet on this river? (if you think I should have checked then please say)

He mucked KT by the way, not sure why the converter didn't show this.

I think after he checks you have to bet that turn. You can't wait til the river to see what he does b/c now you put yourself in a bad spot to call off a bet when you are really unsure what he may have if he pushes the river. Be careful about putting your oppenent on one of the few hands that can beat you as you'll start playing too timidly. On the river I think anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 the pot is justifyable as you know he has a king.
