    Default Hmmm...$3R

He says he only called because I've reraised him 3 times...I think he called because he's a donkey that sucks. How he thought he was good, I don't know, but I should just smooth pre and check-fold flop right?

I don't often re raise PF with AQo and when I do it's against someone who has opened from a slightly later position or a complete donk.

It may just be me being a tight ass but I'd fold this PF and only call if it was AQs.

Post flop you don't have a lot of fold equity and the way the hand has played I'd imagine he had a pp, probably above the 8s and I wouldn't expect this to be laid down. If he has AK he may well call you anyway because of pot odds. I don't see what he can have that he will lay down that he's raising from UTG and calling a re raise OOP with. I'd fold the flop.

    How's the break going then?

I prefer to just call preflop in position and give up to any action on that board. As played I'm folding to his flop bet, there just isn't any FE from what I can see. You're not in a desperate situation and have a decent stack, I don't see the need to get too involved here.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

david it was free money, it doesn't count, haha.

And jharding, I agree with you...but take a look at the results.

This is always my god damn problem. I make it through the first hour of any of my tournaments and always have an above average stack. If I make into the third hour, I'm almost ALWAYS reaching the FT then top 4 because I have a solid end game (thank you SNGs). But in any tournament I lose...I lose in the 2nd hour when I still have 20-30 BBs but try making a huge move. It's a big leak and I don't know what to do.

    I may change to a TAG: 1st hour. Weak-Tight: 2nd hour. LAG: 3rd hour.

The 1st and 3rd hours are never problems for me...but I sometimes play too aggressive in the 2nd and somehow see all my chips in the middle against a similar stack. Any suggestions?

yeah i would suggest flat calling preflop

as for 2nd hour play in rebuys, you can play looseish and call raises with some drawing hands, but dont put in your stack on draws etc just wait until you have the goods dont risk unnecessary chips unless completely nexessary

With position, I always call this deep with AQ. If you're gonna 3-bet him, I like going smaller, so we have fold equity to shove any flop. If he stop n' gos to where we have no FE with a push, just dump it. The raise/call/lead is always a pair and the stacks dictate whether he's probing or committing himself.
