After Benyamine min 3-bets, the party's over. Esfandiari's 4-bet had nothing to do with the $40k, but to put Benyamine to the test implying that the last $100k was getting in on the river. Small bet to win a huge pot, but that min 3-bet is pretty strong.

Do you think a river shove from Esfandiari could have worked?

i hated the way antonio played that hand, no one is ever going to fold to that min 4 bet after doing a min 3bet. IMO, he did it because he let his ego get between him and the hand, that with the added factor that him and David seem to have a history.

i dont quite understand his small turn raise either. Benyamine overbets pot for 18K, Antonio pretty much min raises to 42k? Imo, if he wanted to make a play on the turn, he should have raised to 55K instead.

Benyamine knows that the 4-bet from Esfandiari is implying that his whole stack may well be going in on the river. When he calls, imo that pretty much tells Esfandiari to give it up.

Can't remember the exact action but I think Antonio may have been better off waiting until all 5 cards were out before making a big move, although it seemed like in that hand Benyamine wasn't having any of it.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
