3x is his standard raise from button and SB for steals... and i'm pretty dam pissed of his steals...

Based on your M I'm not liking calling for set value as your implied odds aren't there.
I either repop him like seany says or fold. Villains SB though so I repop almost every time.For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Raise or fold on the bubble with anything. Folding's a waste. No point in playing the tournament. Calling's just donating 2400. Re-raise and fold to a push. He's raising you with any 2 here. I'd reraise much more than 77 here. 10k's fine, but if he calls, you're limited on the flops you can shove. Any face is pretty bad. Ten high flop or better and you're going if he checks to you. If he bets, he had you preflop and he's trapping.
On the bubble, you want to go larger with your re-raises, though 11k's fine. 12k's better.Last edited by the alex; 03-20-2007 at 08:32 AM.

More than 10bbs is a bit of an overbet. We shouldn't be calling a re-push here and re-raising too large and folding just begs for becoming the table punching bag. I almost never re-raise to more than 9bbs the stack sizes call for a re-shove. Originally Posted by SeanyBullets1
