You want him to fold with 5-1? I am sure its +EV to call, this decision was made prelfop (with this player only) and a simple coinflip.on the flop when he bets, and u call what are you beating?
u do have chips and 2 overs.....buttt i cant see this being +ev?

McJ.
Here you raised 10BB after 3 limps with AK.
With AA/KK you would probably make it 5bb.
I would make it around 7bb for both hands.

I think raising anywhere from 7-11bbs is fine. Because of the stacks that limped, a shove here really isn't that bad. There are very few spots where an overshove like this isn't bad. This can be one of them, but you only know that if you're at the table. The only 2 trappers to be worried about are the 1st 2 limpers and they're on less than 1/3 of your stack. CO and SB aren't trapping after 2/3 limpers. I most likely overbet the pot to like 750-850 and play the flop depending on the stacks that see it with me and the flop itself. Without the CO in the pot, I'm playing the flop the same every time, though, regardless of what flops, obv.
Checking to call MP2's good after CO folds. If MP2 checks and CO bets, I'd shove him or fold depending on what his bet looks like and what I have on him prior to the hand.
Open-shoving the flop isn't bad. 77-44/22 have a really tough time with this. There are only a couple of hands that we're in bad shape against- TT, A9, and 99/88/33 are brutal. The pot's just too big to see where we're at with a bet and we wanna make it tough on pocket pairs and A9 or the possibility of JT/QJ to shove with a lot of outs.
CO seems super-weak and can be set-mining but he's usually on unpaired big cards and he'll be straightforward with his stack in proportion to the pot.
