Default JJ facing some weird action PF

    Button was 17/9, MP1 41/15.

I've started limping JJ UTG recently, but faced with a raise then a bitch min-reraise, am I still calling to see a flop? Anyone push here?

From what I'd seen of the villain he would open raise a wide range but his push scared me, standard fold here?

Definite fold to all-in. Getting it all-in with JJ in the 2nd level is marginal at best. Tournies can't be won this early, but they can be lost. Remember that.

QFT. At the very best you're something like 5% favorite and even that is highly unlikely.

Idk about limping JJ even from UTG when the game's down to seven players... never in a cash game would I do this... unless I'm planning to 3bet some aggrodonk's raise.

I've always been one for raising jacks but my stats weren't great. Decided to go through a phase of playing them for set value in EP and see if I do any better with that.

I limp JJ deep stacked a lot because I think limp/re-raising is a powerful deep stacked weapon. Raising gives people the easy way to play the hand- take a flop in position.

You also get info before you get invested and after a someone raises a UTG limper and that raise gets re-raised, it's time to muck the Jacks OOP. You're officially against a small range now and there are other spots to pick up chips- OOP on the call isn't a spot. With effective stacks of 25bbs in the SB after an open-raise in MP and a re-raise from the button, I'd like a push a lot of times, but not here.
