Not much known about the villain, he'd been at the table for 7 hands. What I did see was alot of postflop aggression and he took down a few pots uncontested, but still the sample size was tiny.
I had been 23/13 over 40 hands. Villain pushed very quickly on the river, how do you play this one? Anyone play it differently prior to the river?
My thinking was he had an ace or a pocket pair. The way he pushed seemed, I dunno, weak. At this point I'm giving him AK/AJ/TT/JJ, all of which I beat. Problem is, these overbets on the river quite often represent strong hands. Do I go against my read or against my (many) prior experiences here?

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

I call, this is such a shitty play by him if he has a nine. Most likely you'll look at a busted flush or an ace.
Could god microwave a burrito so hot, that he himself could not eat it?
