Default $200NL - Nice Spot for a Float?

Should probably put this in Glory Corner but I want opinions as I don't think I make this type of play enough.

Original preflop call is loose I think but in preparatuion for when I start playing higher stakes games I am trying to limp ith suited connectors or suited aces just enough that people don't know I have a pocket pair and am set mining every single time I limp in early to mid position.

When calling the raise my thinking is that I have position on the raiser and also he's a solid tight player so I feel I may have fold equity on pushing draws and a chance to push him off on scary flops, as well as the possibility of stacking AA/KK on a 992 type board.

I like it, but this is a flop where if he's folding to a harmless turn, he's folding to a flop raise. The float's cheaper when you figure in the 1st person could be trapping or the raiser has a huge pair/set that'll pay off your gutshot. I usually raise this flop, though. $60-$70 looks good. I'd rather raise this flop with T9 than 88.

This'll get you free turns in position when people just don't wanna deal with you when they miss or they'll get too trappy and lose value.

I agree and usually I would bluff raise but this seems to be cheaper since if he pots the turn he most likely wasn't folding flop and save myself the extra $50 or so I would have raised.
