Villian has been a bit aggresive. Did I over-raise and push him out... did I want action? At least I'm not posting this is river rats. It's such a basic question Im considering not posting, but I already pasted the hh
This is the Sunday million. $500 buy-in this time, only 2801 entrants (Update: Ended up finishing 1445 place, but not one this hand.) . I kinda wanted him to re-rasie but when I look at my bet and the table play, I think everyone knew I had aces. Doubling up at this point would be real nice, but the blinds and his bet add nicely as well.

This is so much better than flat calling and going broke to TT on a T72 flop.

yes, you have to raise there, the stacks are too deep. I'd probably raise it more.

If the effective stacks were 6-7k, I'd call and CR all-in on the flop, but you're too deep and you wanna build the pot. The problem with re-raising a LAG with AA, though, is the same reason why re-stealing them with any 2 is effective- their range is so wide that you usually pick up the pot PF. For this reason, I'd re-raise about the same because you wanna build the pot so if he catches middle pair on a Jack or Ten high board, you can stack him, let alone when he hit top pair or a draw. Problem is that you have 2 aces, so AT-A6 or so are less likely. The value's when he has Broadways, which are the majority of his range and what he'll take most flops with, and sniffs the flop.

Still just happy I took this hand, but I'm thinking if my re-raise was to a total less than 2k, he may have called/re-raised.Given his past maybe even pushed. With the whole table vibe 'till then, I think showed a bit too much strength. Like I said, at least this isnt in river rats so it all good.
