    Looks good. If he has TT/99/66/77 which is what the quick call would look like- moreso 66/77, this is a healthy enough bet. If he has an overpair, your bet's healthy enough to put him in a raise or fold spot because if he's sensible, he wants to make his river decision as easy as possible and that's made possible by getting it in now. This looks more like a pair with a gutshot or maybe even A8s where his suits missed the board. The quick call is weak, but knowing that means nothing. Knowing why people quick call is more important- they do it to slow you down i.e. get a free river and possibly a cheap showdown.

    Looks reasonable. I'd like to know he can call with small-mid pairs 1x and release to a 2nd bet.

    Although alot of people play KK this way (or even QQ). In that they will check-call anything but bet nothing.
