    Default Rate this play?

The table tends to be fairly loose preflop but quite tight passive postflop. Most people seem to want to see a flop with most hands but give up quite quickly after. Only at the table 15 mins though so don't have a lot to go on. Pot sizes aren't exact cos the hh doesn't tell me what the rake was but doesn't really make a difference here.

How do you guys play this? Do you raise preflop?

The free card I gave on the flop is dangerous I know but does anyone else do this here? From what I've seen of the table, I will know very quickly if someone has drawn out on me.

    Turn raise is standard, right?

Preflop raise is OK. I will do it if limper has a high VPIP and esp if he folds alot either preflop or on the flop to a raise.

In a multiway pot I bet that flop every time.

Someone could easily have KJ/KT here and not be prepared to pay to draw to a gutshot but if they get a free card and the T/J hits you can't really eliminate that from their ranges.

If they have a hand like 77 they are no more likely to put any more money in on the turn than the flop unless they hit a 7 and take a big pot from you.

Your play fit in exactly with how you describe the rest of the table is... I think on the flop I'd put out a "no one else bet so I'll steal it" feeler of $.50. Also, on tables like you describe you dont need to wait until you hit trips, you play this same way with any 2 cards in position you likley take it down 3 out of 4 times on a really tight pf table.

i dont think ive limped preflop with KQ in at least a year.

I would probably raise preflop with KQ in an unraised pot (I play 6max)

on the flop i would bet/raise/whatever. on the turn you raise when the board gets worse.. i dont get it. raise flop

I'm probably raising this PF from the CO, maybe 4-5bb. I'll limp on occasion also, though.

Last to act on the flop here, I don't feel like giving a free card, I bet 1/2 to 3/4 of pot.

If I'm raising here I'm trying to take down the pot, this won't happen here. The table likes to see alot of flops. I suppose I could minraise it to basically double the stakes and build it for when I do hit the flop but I dont think I'm ever taking this down even with a 4-6BB raise, that's why I limped.

I'm tending to agree that the free card wasn't the greatest idea . I guess I was just convinced someone would have a shot at the pot on the turn if it got checked around (and not to sound smug, but I was right ), and I don't tend to pay people off in these situations (esp as this table lets you know when you're beat!). That made me check it. 10 scared me and I had to raise to find out where I was.
