Default AKo in the BB with alot of limpers

So far this table has been crazy. PF raises almost every hand, alot of limpers/callers each flop. I don't want to just put in a 7-10BB raise here and get called, then when I miss the flop I'm losing my raise. I've seen all-ins called with practically nothing already. I'm thinking I want everyone to fold and just take the pot as it is with 180 already in. So I push.

What would anyone else do here?

hmm.. AK doesn't play well OOP especially in a multiway pot and with the table as you describe I like the push, lots of worse hands are calling you here.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

    this is pretty terrible.

blinds are 15/30 and you push 1500 with AK?

    are you serious?

just check this hand. its a small pot not worth stealing preflop, and a standard raise will be called by 2/3 people, which is not good oop with AK.

also, the only hands that call you preflop are hands that have you beat. (IE: JJ)

only time i would do this would be in the rebuy stages of a rebuy tournament.

Bad description now that I read what I typed.

    Is the push that bad?

With hands like this I always win a small pot or lose a big one.

If he says all ins have been called with practically nothing, doesn't that give the push some value?

I'm not saying the push is the best play here, but Sklansky seems to like the idea of pushing AK preflop in TAP, even with pretty deep stacks.

I dunno if I would be ballsy enough to do that in this spot, just the donkish table that makes me think that way..

The villian in this hand called a PF all-in over 25BBs with just A6o a few hands before this. A few others that weren't as bad, but still weak hands to call an all-in PF.

I said it was a bad description because it's mistyped and misworded.

This was by far the most aggressive table I've incountered playing these 10 man SNGs. Also the loosest table. Mostly the players in these are weak-tight players, they like to see alot of flops cheap and only raise more then the minimum when they've got what they think is the best hand.

probably because you are betting 1500 chips at 15/30 blinds and 180 chips in the pot with AK

I actually meant no matter what I do with it. If check and hit top pair, I'm still looking at alot of players in the pot that could have out flopped me.

    Cheeeeeeeeeeeeecccckkkkkkkkk.

Remember, can't win a SNG at this stage, but as you can see, you can lose it.

I cant see why you want to take it down right here... only 150 chips in the pot.

If you really think you can be called by a dominated hand, it may worth it, but I doubt somebody can call with less than a PP or another AK.

Wich make this move about even money. Well, Slightly +EV but you dont win STTs with slightly +EV move.
