Good Paw seemed solid. His show down hands were usually high quality hands.

Standard play. Raised when the sb completed, continuation bet the flop when checked to. Nothing wrong with it.

Do the amounts I raised seem OK? With the blinds at 15/30 I can't see raising anymore.
His post flop check raise seemed like a steal attempt however I still had some chips so folding was OK.
What % of the time do you put in the continuation bet. I seem to do it ALL the time and late in tourneys I get check raised a lot. Is there a optimal % for continuation bets?

Check raises as a bluff are a very expensive bluff when you get busted, however its possible because he's CL bullying you as the short stack and using his tight table image.
I'd say he was looking to limp with reasonably high pockets against you, recognised the cbet and pushed you out.
Dan harrington suggests using cbets around 70% of the time if i recall correctly.

played it fine IMHO.
This guy must have a really aggressive image for me to continue in that hand by calling or raising.Originally Posted by Girevik
