KKK was winning. The choice was to slowplay or to go all in. My logic was that to take down the pot represented a weaker hand than to slowplay. I put him on 888, 999 or maybe JJJ.
TURN Jd.
Maybe a backdoor straight or flush in the wind.
Went all in, and he folded AKc after a long think.
After he folded and I mised my chance of doubling on him, check raise looked good.I showed him the kings and lead a round of applause for the laydown.
Feedback?? Play it fast or hang back and trap. The other question is whether it was wise to show him the kings.

Pop it up to 800 Preflop, then on flop be like "I'M ALL IN MOTHERFUCKER"

Yes. That is how I have been playing this hand previously, and getting preflop folds all round. I really wanted to hurt this guys stack early.

BB was 20, and you raised to 200... then he reraised to 400... yea, I agree with bag that you may have wanted to re-raise him again
I also want to clarify... you both checked the turn? Big mistake for you... should have value bet at least 200 if not 400. He would have called, and likely pushed."People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, they make them." - George Bernard Shaw

I would not usually show hands but here in a tournanet you probably will want people to fold to your bets quite often. Therefore if you are going to show KKK here, fold for the next few orbits while blinds are small and then bluff alot it is a good show.

No. I went all in on the turn. He folded AK. My logic was that it represented less than the nuts, to be taking down the pot (maybe KQ or two pair).
I am actually wondering if check raising was a better option. It seems your saying no to that.
My logic was that to try to take down the pot at that point may have induced a loose call, from him. Maybe another 400 at the turn would have had him more pot committed.
Anythow thanks for the reply.

This guy had a read on you...
An I would have throw AK away probably too...
You raise pref lop
he re raise
And you slightly re raise saying: please call!!! please call!!!!
Normaly that is AA or KK
I'm not a big fan of rerasing, a reraiser PF if its not all in. (or at leat an amount that could win the pot right now)
It give too much info about your hand and most of the time will lead to a small win or a huge lost.
I think Rex said that... "When somebody raise 4 times on the same street, its simply cause he dont know where is the all in button!"
My line would have been
PF
Raise
Call
Flop
He would have bet
You raise 3X is bet...
You would have make a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUge pot i.m pretty sure.
If you decide to re re re re raise PF... Raise it to 800 and force him to take a real decision!

Thanks kingjack. Makes sence....
The checkraise .... what I mean is checking the turn and waiting for a river bet.
