1.5 hours into it, i have run decent and had a fairly insane table for the whole tournament.
is there really any other way to play this?

Flop play seems good.
Do you always raise there pf with 8's? I tend to limp them 60-70% but not sure if I should be raising more. For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

I'd play it the same. You're rarely against a straight and in those spots, you got outs. Can't realisitically expect all those callers to the all-in. You're probably drawing dead after all that.
As for preflop, 88 and AQ are hands I mix my limps and raises, too. If the table was insane, I'd wanna limp. In an unraised family pot, this isn't a bad flop to lead and fold bottom set to crazy action. But no one can really fault someone for not getting away here, raised or unraised.
