In the same vein as this thread, was this a pointless play then? Should I be waiting longer to steal? I lost a huge amount of future equity in this hand.
Some background, I had been moved to this table recently, maybe 12-15 hands ago. Had only voluntarily played two hands at this table thus far, raising both times; and had folded my button previously to an earlier raise.

Honestly, you have NO image with these donks. How tight you've played means nothing. If it's people in the blinds you can steal from, you played the first hand fine on the flop.
The second hand's a muck preflop with that stack easily. You got 10/20 kickin' in and every chip have over 20k is very valuable at 8/16. I like stealing UTG and UTG+1 a lot, but not with A-rag and not at 6/12 or 8/16.
